  1. This is a summary of the letters I've received regarding the split:

  3. - Almost everybody is in favour of splitting.
  4. - Almost everybody is going to subscribe to both lists.
  5. - About 50% want the new list to be bm_talk.
  6. - About 50% want the new list to be bm_prog.
  7.  
  8. The first two points pose no problem. I can do the split and everybody
  9. can handle it however they like at their end.
  10.  
  11. The last two points are another matter...
  12. I'll do the split Wednesday evening (or possibly Thursday morning), so now's
  13. your last chance to say what you think about it.
